About Miramar

Miramar is a city in southern Broward County, a suburb in the Miami metropolitan area with about 135,000 residents at the 2020 census. Pembroke Pines, Hollywood and West Park are its neighbors, and Miami Gardens lies across the county line in Miami-Dade. The FBI's Miami field office moved to Miramar in 2014, and Miramar Regional Park has a large outdoor amphitheater.

Renting here means a newer suburban community, all built since 2016, mostly around Miramar Parkway, SW 30th Street and SW 43rd Street, with pools, playgrounds and dog parks. Avalon Miramar Park Place is on a lake with a walking trail, and it and Avalon Miramar both offer furnished apartments. Catalina at Miramar is a build-to-rent community of two- and three-bedroom townhomes, and Eurus at Miramar has a 24-hour concierge; county tax records flag Eurus as partly income-restricted. Our building files don't place any Miramar building near rail, so plan on driving.

Miramar suits commuters and anyone who wants a newer apartment with space in southern Broward, and people relocating who want a furnished place to start. Compare it with Pembroke Pines next door, Miami Gardens across the county line and Hollywood.
